Using Bluetooth to talk on a cell thru a home phone??

Is there a device that will allow me to plug a home phone or modem into a bluetooth transmitter and make a call on my cell?

I don't have a home phone, but sometimes it would be nice to have a way to hook up either a fax machine or the cable box to a phone line...

I have seen devices that are home style phones that are bluetooth and use your cell.. so I am looking for something similar, but that has a jack not a phone.

i was digging up this http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/cellphone/8928/

but then i saw what your really looking to do and i have no ideas for you. i doubt something like that exists because you have to dial the number and then hit send to create the connection not just pick up the receiver to complete the connection like you do with a POTS home phone.

They are called a bluetooth Gateway. Lots of options avalable, google search

Example:
http://www.gizmag.com/xlink-bluetoot...vergence/8968/

Example for sale:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16876998057

they also make phones that will directly communicate with your bluetooth enabled phone as well.

Example:

That is a pretty cool device.
If I did not have a landline (Vonage, screw the phone company) I would have one of those.
