I have a few friends/acquaintances that run bracket lifts (tahoes, blazers, tacos, and runners). In my opinion and their's after seeing how the run and work. Bracket lifts are just glorified block lifts for ifs. You will gain no more travel or cycling of suspension. Your ground clearance will also not improve. The "ONLY" thing these lifts should be used for are tire clearance. Having said that the cost is not worth the cost. You are far better going with a BJ spacer and a small block/longer shackle combo in the rear, if all you want is the look and a small lift. This with a little bit of hammering of the pinch weld would get you far enough to run 33's. I understand you are getting the new gears cheap/free, but $1300.00 for a lift you are only gonna use for maybe a year is not worth the investment. Go with BJ/block hammer some stuff and keep the other parts in storage until you are ready for the SAS.
