graphite as bushing lube?

As stated, anyone use dry graphite only to lube polybushings? I hate the dust collection on my a arm bushings. Ive found people added it to the grease to stop squeaks but not alone. I live in the desert so the only water is from when i wash the truck.
Any thoughts before i put this back together?

Never tried plain graphite, but have used both graphite grease and graphite paint (Lubriplate Slip-Plate)on leaf spring bushings and in between spring leaves. Over time, both will build up a layer of graphite powder in between the moving parts and usually quiet the squeaking. I find it does take a few applications over a few years to build up the graphite layer, basically run it until it starts squeaking then reapply. On the grease, I'll usually just brush it on just where needed and the dust collection is not too bad. Wash off the dust buildup a few times and the dust will take most of the excess grease away.

Dry lube for motorcycle/bicycle chains works great. It doesn't attract dirt as grease does. Hell mix it with some powdered graphite if ya want

That spray is great. But never actually dries. I use it all day long on lug nuts mostly. Months later when a car comes back for service or another repair, that graphite is still wet just as it came out of the can.

Follow up. Graphite by itself is meh...no squeak but also very binding still, settled on grease with graphite.

Refresh before posting....doh... ive got prothane on upper and lowers. Sticky buggers even lubed. TS said they'll break in and loosen up after some use, brings the suck on the ramp or slow crawling.

Graphite spray. Aerosol can. Possibly a red can. The stuff I use never actually dries. We probably are speaking of two different products.
