My Prom Ride 2004
No, it's not a stretch 4runner, although I saw a stretch Sequoia the other day (swear, i had to look twice) and it looked cool. Just my regular 4runner. Anyway, my senior prom's tonight so I've been cleaning my car like MAD, inside and out. We're taking a limo but i still have to pick my girlfriend up and take her to the house where we're meeting, and it was a great excuse to detail my rig.
Anyway, I know you guys like pics so here is my clean rig, all ready for a night of fun:

Please tell me you got a room and won't be camping on prom night. You have to have a nice comfortable bed for uh...yeah you to sleep on...that's it.
Beer on prom night...ah the memories.
You should invest in a cooler. I did back in my junior year of HS and she's never done me wrong. Perfect size too...
Have fun and try to stay out of trouble.
BTW, the rig looks great.

I'm confused....Your sig says bought new in '97, but your going to prom tonight. You bought this when you were 11? Or hand me down from parents. Wish I owned a sweet runner like that at your age. Good luck, anyways.

The cooler mod
Coleman has an alum. ice chest and you'll need that for starters
Go to Walmart or any place that sells replacements boat seats and brackets. get one.
Mount the boat seat on the top of the ice chest and
Now you have a seat and an anti-beer theft cooler. Plus the seat folds down and snaps shut.

On the other hand, my rig was bought new in '96. It just didn't reach me until 2003.

Bah. I'm a shut-in. I never went to Prom. Besides, my school was 80% redneck, 10% wannabes, 8% nerd, and 2% other. I fit into the Other catagory. :p
That's a very sweet ride, though. I really wish I could sell my Subie and get a 4Runner.
