Exhaust Tips

Ok- So on my 2002 i have the normal exhaust tip that comes out the right side. I am a little jelous of the 2003+ exhaust tips that are chromed and come out the back. I was wondering if anyone knows if the Valor exhaust tips that Toyota sells will fit a 2002 runner. I am not looking to change where the exhaust comes from, I just like the finished look of the chromed tip. Thanks for any help.

Before you change the exhaust tip to exit the rear, do a search on the sulphur exhaust smell many 4th gen owners are having. Many of those who have the problem tend to blame it on the position of the exhaust tip. It seems that the air flow in the rear of the vehicle can cause the exhaust to be sucked into the cabin if you like to leave the rear window open. Some have claimed to fix the problem by installing new exhaust pipes that change the final pipe to aim either down or to the side to avoid the air flow problem. If you do try one, try to get one that can be easily removed or changed back if the results are not good.
