Electrical help

I have a 88 pickup that a sensor has gone bad.Nobody around here can tell me what sensor it is.(Even the local Toyota dealership does'nt know).The wiring goes from the pass. side top of the pleium to the sensor that is located at the back of motor near the firewall.Square connectors on both ends.Thank you. It's a V6

knock sensor with a black lead? nah
how about the connector feeding the oxygen sensor ... sounds about right

The only thing I can see on my V6 that meets that description is the cold start injector. Does the sensor have a round metal pipe going to it.

sensor

That's it my friend.Thanks alot. I don't know why the local toyota dealership would'nt tell me that.It's the sensor at the other end of that plug in.Down behind the motor.So it's the cold start sensor?Thank you so very much.My hat's off to you. :pat:
