Newbie here. Well, new to the message board. I have a 2000 4Runner Limited with two tone paint: I know the main color is Desert Dune, but I'm trying to figure out the "silver" lowerd/body panel color. I want ot order a touch-up pen from Autovisials.com because I've had good luck matching their pens to my BMW, so ii figure they're a good bet for the 4Runner as well. Only problem is that nothing in my door jam matches the codes they have, or any other codes I've found on other sites for that matter. Does anyone know what the code is? Or even what it's called? (I want to thin I remember it being Silver Metallic, but can't remember for sure) Thanks!

 

i'd swing by walmart or autozone and check out their paint rack. if nothing else, you can probably get the code.

or call the dealership.

 

every paint code for a limited pulls up two colors at a paint store. the first color is the body color and the other color is the trim color. they have a crappy database or they didn't know what they were doing if the toyota code didn't give them both colors.
