NEWSFLASH : Burtman Industries and YotaTech.com team up for new 2004 Tundra Sponsorship!

As the 2 up and coming stars in the Toyota world proved today, nothing is impossible if you set your mind to it. Burtman Ind. and YotaTech bought out the Tundra Racing Team's original sponsor Craftsman in a bold and calculated move this past weekend.

YotaTech C.O Corey was seen sizing up the Tundra for a ARB bumper and winch system as Burtman Industries C.O Jason Burtman was discussing dash kit and altezza options with the pit crew.

All bets are off as the new Burtman/YotaTech sponsorship looks to take their fair share of checkered flags in the 2004 season!

(I was going to photoshop the truck but then decided id rather take a nap, so use your imagination.)

INsr5runner,

First of all, there will be more than one team driving the Toyota Tundra. Second of all, the owners of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck teams have probably not decided whether they are going to switch to the Tundra yet. Therefore, the driver may be someone who's truck-owner decides to switch manufacturers or a driver who joins another team that is running the Tundra.

Most likely there will be no number 12 Toyota Tundra truck racing the circuits. Whenever a manufacturer displays the prototypes for NASCAR, they have a random number on the side as well as the manufacturers own logos on the hood. It is not until these trucks are purchased by the racing teams that those teams buy the rights to a number and sign contracts with sponsoring companies. That number 12 is simply there to give you an idea of how it will look.

Judging by how low to the ground that truck is, the suspension would probably be -6" -> 6" at the touch of a button.

From what I read it wont be the 4.7L. They are building a overhead valve motor specifically for the truck series. Its like 388 cubic inches or something like that. The same cubes as all the other trucks run.

Anything and everything that can be done to an engine. And you can get one with a ton of money and a design team or two. That engine doesn't even bear a resemblence to the standard 4.7L you can actually buy in the Tundra.

Think we can talk them into making that an option though?

The engine has to be 350-258 cubic inches, that's one place that it's picking up HP. The bored 4.1L 5vz-fe makes 300hp NA and is used in the Goody's Dash series.
