AC pulley removal
Completed 3.4 swap awhile back. Son drives it (and loves it) everyday without any problems.
The problem we have is the AC. When we swapped the 3.4 in, we left the 3.0 AC compressor untouched due to the fact that it had a fresh charge and was working fine. Now that the temps are at 90+ daily, he would like to hook up the AC. I have read that you can swap the pulley from the 3.4 compressor over to the 3.0 compressor, but I have yet to find where anyone has posted pics or an explanation and/or details of doing this.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

So. Just find a longer than normal bolt to thread in the hole. Use an impact on the bolt and you won't need to hold the pulley down. It comes off pretty easily though. At least the 4 I have removed did. Just go easy on the bolt with the impact!!!!! You don't want to break the bolt off inside..

After removing the bolt, I just screwed a longer bolt in the hole by hand to remove the clutch. You'll have to remove snap ring and tap with a mallet to get pulley off.
