99 Taco VSS Question

I just recently purchased a 87 toyota 4x4 that was converted to the 3.4L and 5 speed trans from a 99 taco. The owner was a frequent here and told me to ask for some advise here.

The truck has no VSS hooked up and is calling for a code.

I have 2 questions i was hoping you could help me with.

The truck was wired with the offroad solutions wiring harness.

In the harness there is one wire labeled "to speed sensor signal" I believe that goes to the VSS on the transmission. Is this correct?

The 99 taco t-case did not have a VSS in it, so i got one from a local wrecking yard and installed it. the problem is they did not have the wiring harness plug that connects to it and i cant find one.

The VSS has 3 wires. pos, neg, and signal. Without the plug i dont know which prongs are 1, 2, or 3. i have attached a photo. can someone fill be in on which is which?

to my understanding of the ncttora diagram it should be
1. positive key on/ pink wire
2. negative/ L lime
3. signal/ green with red stripe.

thanks in advance guys.

ya, i read that too. the issue is i dont have the wiring plug that clips onto the vss. that plug is marked 1,2,3.

i know what the wires are and where they go, but im not sure what prong is 1,2,3. if someone could pop under their truck that would be awesome.

so from the wire side it would be 123, so looking at the pic, it would be 321. 1 being on the right side, and 3 on the left. that is how all plugs are. wiring diagrams go off of the plug, not the sensor. well for the most part they do. anyways. 321 from left to right. top of the plug is where the clip is.
