Trottle cable ?

I'm using my trottle cable from my 91 4runner, but it seems like it's about 2" too short. Are you guy's moving the mounting plate that's on the manifold or lenghtening the cable so it reaches?

I know that there are guys here that reused the 3.0 throttle cable but I could never get mine to work correctly. There must some variable on certain years. I could never get my idle to be correct with the stock 3.0 so I swapped to the 3.4 and everything worked perfectly.

As far as I recall, my 3.0 cable worked fine.

mine did too, though I massaged the bracket a little on the manifold to give me enough slack.

I've now done swaps on a 93 and a 92. Both of the original cables worked fine with a little modification to the 3.4 bracket.
