What's my 4runner worth ?
Hey guys,
I have a 1990, 2 door, V6, 4x4, 4runner.
It has an automatic with only 129k miles.
The engine has been rebuilt and she runs really good, mechanically she is sound.
The clear coat is starting to go, and it has some slight damage to the tailgate (I have a 2nd good black tailgate) she will be needing some paint...
I recently purchased a 2002 4x4 Limited, so it's time to sell her and I am trying to figure out what she is worth.
I know the 2 doors are pretty rare...
Any thoughts or interested parties ?
(I'm in Austin)
TIA,
Chuck

Thanks for moving it. Sorry for the mistake. I didn't even know there was an 'advice' section...
I do want to sell her, but I just don't really know what the 2 doors are worth ?
I see 4 doors in the same condition selling for around $3500 down here in Texas...
Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

3.0 V6 really isn't worth much period IMO but folks do pay $1500-3000 for running 2nd gens around here. Most aren't going to pay you any more for a 2 door cause they don't care that it is rare.
Got any pics of the interior?

Indeed it is a rare "package" 4runner you have there but its prob only going to be worth something to the "right person."
Given its condtion and current mileage and options..... I'd say for a toyota market its worth around 2000-3500.

The 2nd gen 4runners are very common here in WA/OR. I see 2 doors every so often. I believe condition is always going to be the primary factor regardless of how many doors it has. I'd say 2000-2500. I prefer manual transmissions, so that is a negative in my book. Good luck at whatever route you decide. It's a very respectable 4runner.
