Trailer Arms/Lower control arms

I am a newbie and joined in hopes to solve a problem.

The bushings in the trailer arms as the dealer calls them are bad. Seems this part is also called rear control arms.
I do all my own work but not a mechanic
Dealer says I can only replace the lower bushing and not the bushing at the front of the arm
Is there anyway I can get the top bushing out? Is it a difficult process? Can the bushing at the front of this arm be purchased?
Any help would be much appreciated as replacement arms are $500.00

Thanks to anyone who can help.

Lower ciontrol arms

Please excuse my stundidity and thanks for the response
I have a 2001 4runner sr5
3.4 4door 4x4

The bushings are for the rear lower control arms
One end mounts beside the rear shock, the other end mounts forward to a bracket on the frame. The control arm seems parallel to the ground.
