Tire gauges

I have an Accutire gauge I bought from Costco around 6 or more years ago.
Googling looks like it is the exact same model still.
The one on the right.

I am not so sure if I trust a digital gauge that much, and when putting mine on the FJs wheels, I do not get a good lock.

Now using an old Acme gauge with the stick that pops out, my tires say around 35, where as the digital one says 32.

What do you believe to be more accurate?
The old Acme one I am using though is from the Viet Nam era, so it is quite old.

My Griot's tire inflator I use with the Powertank has a gauge built into it, but I want a nice seperate gauge instead whos sole purpose is to just get an accurate reading.

Vulcan has some nice round ones with a bleeder valve built in.

They have them in digital too, but way overpriced.

What I like about both types is the chuck and hose setup, much nicer than just ramming that Accutire type on the valve stem like I have now.
Can not get a good seal this way.

What brand of a tire gauge have you used that is accurate?
I tend to want to stick to one with the round face and analog dial on it like the first one pictured by Vulcan.

Ooops, the round faced one I posted above requires an air hose on it.
Found just a plain jane one, the 4" face model.

$49 is not bad for the 60 psi one.

I bought a guage (with bleeder) similar to the above for only $20 at Pep Boys 5 years ago and it still works fine and is accurate and tested it against my friend's $75 version. With tire guages IMO you don't need to spend a crazy amount to get a decent one. I had a $10 digital that was right on with my analog version til some dip stole it at the strip a few years ago.

I tested my digital one I got at sears vs my friends and its dead on accurate. The stick ones that pop out are never right imho, in 10 of them I found one that worked

I've never trusted the pop-out stick type gauges. When I compared them to my round-dial ones, they invariably seemed 'off' (often in different directions), so I quit using them.

I've compared my standalone round-dial ones against the gauges on my last 2 Craftsman electric inflators / pumps, and they correlated exactly. As a result, I mainly go by the gauge on my inflator ....
