just seafoamed my '91 RE, videos!

I put it into the break booster vacuum. Waited about 15 minutes. I also put some in the gas tank, as well as a little bit in the oil.

I'm not sure if this was happening before i seafoamed, but when i was revving it really high, i heard a grind sort of sound. Anyone ever have this?

I also heard a little backfire..what is that from?
Keep in mind, I dont think ive ever revved my baby that high, so i dont know if it would have happened before the seafoam treatment as well.

I followed the 5 min instructions and I thought someone was going to call the firefighters...OMG was there a lot of smoke... I think maybe the more gunk there is the more it smokes?? There was soo much carbon build up in mine that I was pinging down the road with regular driving... After about 10 min sitting in the drive-way with it smoking up the houses and half the street I decided to take it for a spin and see if I could blow the smoke out....well it took a good 5 min of driving and a nice acceleration over 4,000 rpm that ended the smoke... It been driving better ever since

Dude that stuff is awesome. I put some in the brake booster vac line and waited five minutes, little smoke, no noticeable improvement. Then I drove to Vail, up and over through the Eisenhower Tunnel. Still same old same old 3.0.
Once I got there, I added more and let it sit over night. Dumped the rest in the oil and gas tank. Lit it up this morning and nearly died from smoke inhalation, it purrs in third gear up steep grades at 50 mph. I love it. Sounds like 175,000 miles not 230,000. Good stuff.

It's all smoke and mirrors...did it on my Jeep and it did not remove any valve carbon, I looked at them directly through the exhaust ports...before and after....puts on a great show though!

EXACTLY 15 minutes is way too short.. do it three times with one can (1/3 can at a time or twice at half a can).. but let it sit in there no less than one hour. the longer it sits the better

can you tell us how you did your seafoam treatment?? i did my girls car at 84k miles, mine at 85k miles and can tell a pretty good difference. this is how i do it and recommend others this way also

2-3 cans in the tank with about 4-6 gallons of gas and run it empty

THEN you can use one can through the intake at 1\3 or 1\2 can intervals. leave it in there no less than 1-2 hours. the longer the better

i dont put anything but oil in my crankcase.

we both gained roughly 2-4 mpg just after doing this.. smoother idle, better gas pedal response. i would do it every 20k miles.. if you have a lot of miles do it more often then phase out to every 20k miles. i drive about 35k miles a year and yeah i can tell a differeence

No idea what was wrong. The vid above does not even begine to show the smoke i had the other day when doing it. Half the block was smoke screened and i had more than one person come out to ask what was going on.
