Don't Be Jealous
But this lil' crusty nugget lives in my neighborhood
That's right. Breathe deep. Soak it in. Half doors, topless, custom roll cage, and plastic upholstery.
Of all the Toyotas I have ever seen, well......this is one of them. All I could say was, "Wow,...that is really... something."
I would rock that badge though. That thing is sweet! 70's era Hilux I presume?
And, so it began. I do a lot of running and cycling, which takes me through many neighborhood streets. I decided to start my own impromptu 'Yota Truck Show.' The rules were simple. It must be a unique, thoughtfully modified, classic, and or well maintained Yota. Bone stock, brand new trucks with radials need not apply.
So next, I found this perfectly straight, beautifully restored Land Cruiser.
And then, this little rust bucket just begging for some love. It hasn't moved in a year. It looks like tons of work, but for some reason I keep going back to check on her.
So, the winner of this round is, by unanimous decision (ha! me) is.....
The Well Restored Land Cruiser.
I know, I know. You wanted the Lil' Blue Hilux. But you said, "I can't drive that, it only has a front seat. Where are my friends and family going to sit?" Well you are in luck! I rode back by the other day for a second look and found this:
Booooom!!!
The next round of the Yota Truck Show will be coming up soon.
Thanks!
