Can anyone identify this connector?

I need help trying to identify this wire and connector. Does anyone know where it goes. It is in a bundle with the starter wires so i think it goes somewhere in that area. but i cannot find where. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Its possible your truck was an automatic at one time, those plugs look like the ones that an automatic transmission would plug into.

i removed the engine about two months ago for a rebuild, the top part of this connector was plugged into something before i removed it because of how clean it is. And the truck has had a 5 speed since ive had it. here is another pic of it.

they look like the connectors that go down by the transmission near the slave cyl. bracket. one I am pretty sure is for the neutral safety switch. the other one may be for the fuel pump stuff, but I am not sure. check near there. gonna have to stick your head up in it though cus the other side is tucked up really close to the frame rail. underneath the truck.

ok looking at mine those two that the O.P. mentioned if they are white and green there is a par of connectors that sit on the fenderwell on the passenger side towards the rear of the battery. thos look to be it, but there is also a round connector and square connector pair that runs down like I said earlier to that slave cyl bracket.

The 4WD indicator runs in the same direction on the passenger side, single wire, also located really close to the passenger side framerail right between the transfercase/trans connection, can't tell but it looks like a small round connector maybe black or dark grey, I can't tell my whole underside of my truck is caked in mud right now. lol.
