2000 4runner 2wd suspension

4runner suspension options/questions
So I have a few questions about some suspension options for my 2000 2wd 4runner
I have two sets of suspension (already have them sitting in the garage)
The first is a complete TRD shocks and coils from a 2007 tundra, I am not concerned with lift but if I get some lift, great.
Will this suspension fit, maybe if I switch out the top plate to my stock 4runner top plate? (if I do get lift I will get coils to match in the rear)
The second set up is just the shocks that fit 02 and up 4WD 4runner/pickup/land cruiser, will these fronts fit with my stock front coils I have now?
I am due for new suspension mine is tired and worn out so I am hoping to make what ever I have work out so save some money.

Not 100% sure, but I am fairly certain anything post 2002 will not work on the front or rear of a 3rd gen 4runner.
The diameter and length of the coils are different as well as the lengths of the shocks... Someone correct me if I am wrong.

the second set of shocks shouldnt fit on your 3rd gen. 02' and up (should be 03 and up) is 4th gen, while your 00' is 3rd gen. They are completely different platforms, but somebody correct me if im wrong.
I suppose it is the same for your first set (TRD). Although alot of people run tundra coils, the shocks might not be compatible with your 4runner.
Maybe if you switch out the top plate you will get the shocks to fit, but otherwise the only thing i see fitting are the tundra coils.

If I were you I would try selling these (ebay or craigslist), and save up for a full OME set, or tundra coils/shocks that fit your year. I am sure there are many people looking for a good price on the stuff you have.

I doubt those coils are short enough to fit a 96-02 shock and I also doubt that the spring rate will be low enough to give any sort of a nice ride.

All 1st gen tundra coils/shocks will work, as well as 96-04 Tacoma 4x4/prerunner stuff will work. You'll get some lift with certain Tundra coils. (Blue Yellow coils)...
Id hit up Sonoran steel (best out there) or Toytech for a complete lift.
