Idle cut off solenoid bolt? Weber 32/36
I know that this is where the Idle Cutoff solenoid is supposed to go but on my truck it is a flathead bolt and if I take it all the way out it has an o-ring on it and a small hole in the shaft of the bolt that looks as if it lets fuel through or something. It does adjust the idle slightly if I loosen/tighten it. Does anyone know what this is and how to properly adjust it. Yes I have been searching forums and google all day for the answer. Thanks.

mmm, that looks to me like one of the idle jet carriers.
it is for sure if you say there's a "shaft" inside with holes in the end.
that little shaft is actually an idle jet; you can pull it out and change them to other calibrated sizes.
keep it snugged up. you don't want it loose. this thing meters fuel.
(I just stumbled across this post looking for idle cut solenoid posts, and I realize this is old.)

Cool. That's where I tap mine to also. I wasn't 100% sure so I ask. But when I too my car to go smog. The smog tech still say it's still running rich. I've double check the float already..
