Engine wiring

Did a timing and cover job. Engine cranks and won't fire.
Unscrewed the gas bolt to EFI and shot gasoline all over...fuel pump,etc. works.
Sparks should be fine.
I checked around the engine and forgot to rebolt this**
not sure where it goes. I don't know if it's just a ground -- it has at least 2 or 3 wires going onto its two prongs (rectangular metal plate with circular opening.
here's the pics --
it's raining crazy up here in the JUNGLE so if i get this running i'm going mudding and rambling @ Jaws.
I'll put up some pics if it goes down so ya'll can see the famous PEAHI and JAWS hawaii scene

That looks like the ground wire that bolts to the intake. So did you replace the timming chain and cover ?, if so, you had to remove the distributor, so i bet its out of time.

The fuel intake -- just to make sure...it's the bolt that when you've got pressure and gas...unbolting shoots gas out...
