hey all i recently bought a 91 4 runner with a bad engine rebuilt it from the crank up got it running the other night went for a test drive and the shift tower seems really sloppy like rotates so you cant get 5th or rev 4th is also hard to get is this common what should i look for ? thanks for the help

 

shift tower......you mean the stick???

and you're shifter bushing is probably shot...check out Marlin Crawler for a replacement

 

is it the one on the bottom that actually goes into the trans or is there another one?
