Clutch Master Cylinder Replacment Problems

Clutch Master Cylinder Replacment Problems
I recently determined that my Clutch Master Cylinder had gone bad. So I purchased a new one and installed it. I was getting ready to bleed the line and when I tested the clutch pedal it was stuck. I am now unable to bleed the line because I can't even get the clutch pedal to "depress". It's as if the new Clutch Master Cylinder I installed is jammed. So I of course have not been able to bleed the line and am now asking YOTATECH users for help.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check your clutch pedal linkage and make sure it's installed straight and properly and not cock-eyed.
Otherwise remove the clutch master cylinder and see if you can press-in the plunger with your thumb. You should be able to, and in fact it a good idea to always "bench bleed" the clutch and brake master cylinders before installing them.
