i dont see why you couldnt power straight to the motor, without all the checks. probably a one wire job. even use same switch.

Just make sure if you if you put a hot wire to the window motor that you put the switch somewhere that it won't be accidently activated.
All those protections are there to keep you from shooting the window right out and onto the ground, getting it bound in the tracks or other assaults and you better believe they can and will do it. There is very little holding the glass in and it wouldn't take much to make a mistake and find yourself with one less window.
Stealing pics from the net...something like this 3 position switch
with a cover like this:
stuck up on the dashboard somewhere might work.
While you're at it, you might want to add one inside in the cargo area. It would be pretty handy to be able to open the window from the inside without having to stick a key in the ignition.

my rear windows drops on the drivers side when you try to let it down. it turned out that where the arm gears mesh together they had slipped. not letting one arm support the window. the arm on the passenger side fits into a track on the bottom of the window, but the arm on the drivers side just fits on the bottom of the window with no track. am i missing the track on the drivers side or is this the way it was made? does anyone have a photo of the internals with the window rolled up and down?
