Anyone ever switched out the fuel pump from a mechanical to electric? I just got a weber carb and it calls for 3 psi, which is less than mechanical puts out. I could get a regulator, but why not just go electrical? Could I get a pump from the junkyard, or auto parts store? How would I wire it in?

It would be cheaper and easier to just get a regulator and hook it up, otherwise your looking at buying an electric fuel pump and wiring to make it work, and you still might also need a regulator even with the electric pump, it just depends on how much money you want to spend and how much work you want to put into it.
