Weber 36 Synchro Carb question?
I recently bought a Weber 36 Synchro carb from webercarbsdirect. I wanted a synchronized carb but thought the 38mm might be too much for my stock 22r. So I decided to get the 36 before I did alot of research on it. Now I see everyone has the 32/36 or the 38mm and no one seems to run the 36. Can someone fill me in on why? I'm having a lot of problems trying to get this this to idle right and the will run totally different everytime I drive it. My 84 pickup is all stock for now except for the carb. I plan on making upgrades as I go or as money allows (of course). I still have alot of the vacuum lines hooked up and I thinking about yanking them all out. Has anyone taken off their egr and put a plate over it? I just want this thing to run somewhat consistant.
