I think I will end up fabbing the rear but the front I think I will get from Addicted. I like the look of the no stinger bumper Scotty makes and the price isn't too bad. Modifying it to fit an 82 is just a matter of drilling a few holes

Marlin has a marlin crawler front bumper on his truck, why not give them a call and see if they will just make you one? i really dont see why they wouldnt.

I have marlins bumper on my truck seemed to work fine with the mounts that it came with. I did get in a bad wreck last year and had to chop up the supplied mounts and remake my own but it was doing just fine before hand.

that's no bueno Wentz912...
a front bumper on a truck, (aftermarket front bumper that is) should be strong enough to withstand just about anything you throw at it.
that is the reason i am looking to buy a Badland bumper!
he had a basher tube bumper on his tacoma, wrecked the truck, the front bumper took the FULL weight of the vehicle standing on it's end...if that's not a test of strength then i don't know what is..oh and by the way, he also took the EXACT same bumper and put it on the new tacoma he bought after that wreck.
hey Toyospearo, what about the Flat top bumper from badland?

Here are a couple of pictures of the front bumper I removed of my "83" last year. I made this years ago. Wanted to install a winch over the winter so I had a custom bumper built. If this is something your looking for send me a PM. I'm in Central California where are you?

Just for the record, on my marlin bumper, I did NOT have all the supplied mounts in use at the time of the wreck and that's the only reason it got twisted up. I hit a wall head on at about 15-20mph and the hoop just barely folded upwards.
