Turn Signal Flasher Location

Searched and Searched.. and can't find anything for our trucks. I can find every other relay, but can't find the turn signal flasher!

I've found electrical diagrams and everything, but still can't locate where the turn signal relay is. My horn is inop as well, so I'm assuming the relay is bad.

Has anyone replaced this slash know where it is located behind the dash?

Thanks for the help!!

im assuming hes asking because his flasher relay went out....meaning you wont hear the notable clicking.

What year(s?) is that wiring diagram for anyway? Or are all the 1st gens similar? This may prove useful...

Sorry, I think i misused the word flasher.. The hazards work, but the turn signals don't. I thought the turn signal relay and hazard relay are different.. are they not?

Going to take a closer look once i get the second bucket seat in

It's a 1980 diagram

they are the same flasher .
sounds like either a ground issue , or possable in the combi. switch itself ..

do the sign. lights come on and stay on , you have ALL 4 lamps connected ?

Yep, replaced the bulbs all around. I need to find some side marker lamps and every light will work. Almost ordered a turn signal assembly last night, but shocked at the price new! Want to sell me one from your parts rig?

Jealous of your frame off.. Going to start a build thread once i get a little more along.. Planning on pulling the bed and sandblasting the rear half of the frame and bed this winter.

Drove the truck off property for the first time this morning, not bad up to 35! Can't wait to bring this truck back from the (sitting on a farm) dead!

Man I love posts like these..

Oh, PS - it was the column switch that was the culprit. I ended up modifying an '82, and using the parts from each to make a complete switch assembly, and now i've got the capability for intermittent wipers. If anyone wants to upgrade from non-intermittent wipers, I'll scan both electrical plug diagrams I wrote out so you can map the wires correctly.
