boxed speakers in a 94'
as soon as i get the money id like to throw in some boxed speakers in my truck. ive got 4in references in my dash and a 10in punch woofer. im lookin for something more in the midrange now. some 6 1/2's or 6x9's or something. id love to hear some opinions on what you guys think would cover the ranges in between and whats the best speakers to get money wise. thanks

Hrm, i'd put some 6 1/2" or 7" mid's in the doors, or kickpanels. Round speakers will always give you better SQ than oval, also, having speakers in front of you will sound MUCH better than behind you.

if its the truck that is in his avatar...there is no where to put the speakers in the doors without modification...and i dunno about 6x9's sounds bad...my old 6x9 pioneers beat my new 6 inchers anyday...and they are the same speaker...
