Had fun prepping 'er for the fitment and weld. I did notice your spare was pretty freakin loose though when I grabbed it to get out from under the Toy. Just a thought. Those diff covers are burly.

Are you going to do anything to defend the drain plugs as well?

Not doing anything with the drain plug except installing the low profile plug that comes with the armor...

Note to anyonme buying this armor....it does require some grinding to fit right.

Is there anything else you can do with the drain plug? I beat the heck out of mine a couple of weeks ago and had to grind it down on the sides to fit the socket.

It comes with low profile plugs that use a 10mm hex instead of the 24mm socket

This is what I do for my drain plugs and diff armor:

More info:
http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/ForSale/AxlePlate.shtml

Even the low profile plugs will get bashed up and knocked loose on the trail. I see one knocked loose every couple of wheeling trips I go on. Cheap fix is just to weld them into place.
