Relocating tcase Cooler ?

For those of you that had to move your Tcase cooler to make room for the passenger side spring tube where did you wind up moving the cooler to?

Pictures would be great.

Thanks

Yota's with the A340H use some funky hydralically controlled transfer that utilizes a small cooler that is mounted low on the passenger side frame rail, right about where the shackle would be located when doing a SAS.

Relocating it should be as easy as making some longer lines, or extending the stockers, and sticking it somwhere under the hood. You might also be able to stick it behind the transfer case tucked up to the body. It shouldn't be too hard to mount with a couple of strong zip ties or sheetmetal screws.

That's exactly what it is and what the problem is. Have it wire tied to the shackle for now.

Can't find anyplace to move it within the hoses reach. I need to either extend the hoses or get longer hoses, not sure of the fittings and where to get a longer hoses. Any help would be apreciated. Can post a picture tonight.

Thanks

booty fab would be to just cut the lines, and splice in a section of hose leaving the stock yota ends. Its a fairly low pressure (only a) cooler line.

If you have to move it, I would take this chance to upgrade it. Wheelin can be hell on an auto tranny. I am putting a monster cooler with its own fan on my A340H.

Here is a picture of the cooler that I am talking about

I looked in the FSM but couldn't find any referance to the tranny/TC coolers.

44Runner is this the cooler you are upgrading? Any info on the upgrade you are getting would be great.

Thanks

Its been a while since I ripped the drivetrain out of the truck. I'll have to go look to see what it looked like because I don't remember seeing that (my donor rig was an 85 pickup). IIRC the cooler lines on the A340H come out right above the pan on the passenger side of the tranny. That is where the cooler will be attached.

I will be running something along these lines for the tranny:
