Trail gear front hanger help! 1st gen
Going to install trailgear front hanger and springs today. But I am alittle confused about the front hangers mounting position.
Originally I thought that all I needed to do was install the new hanger in the stock location flush with the frame. But after reading the website again it seems as if you are suppose to mount the haanger 1" forward of the frame. So it still mounts on the underside of the frame but you just move it so it juts out 1" past the end of the frame and then just weld the gussets in right? Or no?
This in on an 1982 SR5 pickup.
