Window Motor or Switch???
I've got a Jack Russel Terrior, who likes to roll down the windows in my 4runner. Power windows of course. My wife taught him that trick. To make a long story short he'll keep rolling down the window, especially on the passenger side until I lock the window on him. Its happened like 5 times now. He'll keep rolling the window down, and I keep rolling it up, and the window will quite working and sit in place. If I lock he window for 10mins or so I can unlock it and it will work again. Any thoughts on what might be going wrong in my situation. Anyone else had this problem?
Thanks,
Adam

I think it's possible the switch is getting warn contacts from all the use.
Take it out and look and see if it can be cleaned.
I had a passenger switch go out on me, and replaced it.
Man, that is one smart pup you got there.
I'd be teaching him to drive next so you can take a break on a long drive and leaving the diving to him.
Might make a few greyhounds upset though.

Yeah, I figured it was probably either the switch or the motor. I wasn't too sure which one it was, and I thought I'd run it by you guys.
Yeah... the dog it pretty smart. You guys would like him. He doesn't like riding in the Benz. He much prefers riding in the 4runner. I think that could be because he can't figure out the buttons in the benz. He's figured them out in fords and chevy's also. In the 4runner he also likes to sit in the back on the cover and look at the back window.
I attached a picture of him after I took him kneeboarding. I"m working on teaching him to surf.... and a couple of other things.
