On the stock wheels, they will probably rub very slightly when turning and hitting bumps at the same time. If you put on wheels with less offset, they will rub more.

My suspension has settled a bit and I was rubbing up front - pulling into driveways AND when I had the wheels turned all the way. BFG muds, by the way.

Currently back to stock for a project but you can bet your butt I'll be running the muds again as soon as I'm finished with "Project Raven"

alright so they will be mounted on the stock enkei 16' wheels that came on my truck, is this going to look ok? how much farther will they stick out than the stock 265x70? and thanks for the previous reply, i was worried it would rub bad, i think that if i beat on the pinch weld behid the fender liner that it could fix any rubbing

Nah, don't worry about it - they don't stick out that much. I couldn't say specifically how much (cause I never really looked) but it's not noticeable.

I've rubbed off a good amount of paint from the frame next to the tires though...

i mean do they rub bad because my stock tires are 265x70x16 and the dunlops i am buying are 265x75x16 so they are just a little wider.
do you have any pics of your truck with the tires?
also what tire size are 265x75x16 eqaul to? are they pretty much like 31x10.50's?

265/75's are about a 32x10.5, where as the 265/70 are like a 31x10.5. I had 265/75's on my stock 01 tacoma for a while with it only rubbing the mud flap and pinchweld on hard turns and bumps, but not real bad at all. Once i got new rims, i could barely turn, had to do the pinchweld mod and i was fine.

i think that a 265/75/16 is actually closer to a 31 but that doesen't really matter.

the tires are measured like this:
265-width in mm across the tread
70 or 75- is a percentage of the 265 that makes up the sidewall
16- of course the diameter of the wheel

they should be fine on road, but i'm not really sure about offroad

oh i gotcha, i thought it was like this
265-was the height of the tire
75- was the width
16-was the size of rim

so thanks for clearing that up, but i dont see any reason that they would rub if my stock BFG Rugged Trail tire is a 265x70x16 and it doesnt rub at all, then going from what 95Red4runner said, i am not actually changing tire size, that the only difference is going from a 265x70x16 to a 265x75x16 which means that the dunlop mud rovers are just going to have more tread on the sidewall.

or maybe im completely wrong but i am still clueless as to if they will rub on and off road, and if they do rub will the pinch weld mod fix the rubbing

After doing the pinchweld mod, they barely rubbed. I'm sure they would have rubbed a bit more off-road but i never had the chance to try it out because i ended up getting my coilovers right after my wheels. Now that im lifted about 2" they don't rub at all on road or off.
