I've searched the net for some black powder coated nerf bars and haven't any luck. I seen some slide bars but i don't like those . Can someone plz point me in the right direction?

Thanx for the reply.
I looked online for days but can't find any for a 88 model. The ones I find are for 89 and up. Hrmmm will the 89 nerfs fit the 88?

Funny, I spent 2 minutes with Google
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&l...t+Side+4Runner
(Smittybilt calls them Side steps, nerfs are their front bumper brush guard kid of things).
and found this:
http://www.autostyles.com/nerfbars.htm
Also, an '89 4Runner bar would fit the '88 and earlier, they are all the same. The Smittys attach to the two outer t-case crossmember bolts and to the spring hanger bolt on the rear springs. Also, any SWB '89-'95 pickup bar would work, too. Same t-case crossmember and rear spring hanger bolts.
