Thinking about rading uto a 96-02 p/u
So I have been researching 96-02 Tacos.
I am specifically looking for a xtrcab, 5spd, 3.4, TRD
I won't be doing a SAS, it wil be a DD/mild wheeler. If anything, I will add armor, 33x10.5, camper shell. More of a road trip/ expedition type build. Probably beefed up suspension, maybe......maybe long travel.
What should I look for in this genre of truck, are there any years to avoid?
Budget for the buy (not build) will be around 10K.
I might go for a double cab, I don't really want an auto, but if the right truck comes along, I would not be opposed to having a slushbox.
I don't really want a runner again, I have nobody other than dogs to haul around, and I want the bed space for jobs around the house.
