Question Sway bar Disconnects!

who still makes these and sells em?

Is Nuke still around to make a set? I've read that rockstomper's disconnects are crap so I don't want to bother with them. Anyone else know someone that makes these?

btw, I need em for a 4th gen 03 4runner..

Not to be negative, but I attempted to buy sway bar disconnects from both of these guys (at different times obviously), and neither responded. Let me know if you hear anything from Nuke. I'm still interested in Front ones.

BTW, I just noticed the year of your rig. The last I had heard, he had a snag in making disco's for the newer rigs. It seems that Toyota changed the design and the older ones won't work, but his newer designs rattled more than he found to be acceptable. It's been a couple of months since I chatted with him, so this may have been resolved.

I just shot him a mail on his personal account, I will let you know what I hear back.

Not to kill your hopes and dreams...but I think Nuke is not making them at the moment.

He had mentioned he was working with some company (not sure who) to see about mass-producing them. Supposedly things are going slowly...and since they are in negotiations he is unable to produce them. Also, I think he mentioned he is too busy recently...?

The good news is that he claims they are "really easy" to make. I cannot figure out how he does it, I think we need someone who has a set to post a bunch of pics. That way we can figure out how to make our own.

What do you all think of that plan?

I just heard back from Nuke. It looks like his disco's may be available again soon,

I'm currently in negotiations with a company to produce my links in the quantities required to supply the masses.
I have not produced any links since negotiations started.
We are nearing the final stages of negotiations, the links should be available soon.

I've tried a couple different designs for the newer models with limited success, not good enough for me to affix the "Thermonuclear" name.
The current solution is to retro-fit a 95 to 00 sway bar to the newer models.
Although this newest development will afford me more time for R&D, with all the straight axle swaps going on, there should be plenty of used pre-2001 sway bars out there for cheap or free.

You can pass this information on to the Yotatech folks.

Sorry for the inconvenience / delay.

its the bar that makes a trip from one of your tires to the other. the pic might be a little hard to see them...but if you get up under your rig..you will see them. does that help any?

I heard it also.

I also heard the stuff about Rockstompers being wurfless. About the only thing I like is that I can order some longer permanent ones to go with my 2-3" of lift. my sway bars are pretty torqued up at the moment.
