Satoshi mod gets its name from ......?
I have seen a few references to the "Satoshi" mod and I must say that Bob's latest pictures of his Desert Dune model are drop dead fabulous but I must confess that I am ignorant to the origin of this name.
Please enlighten me.
Thanks,
Mike

Mike,
Satoshi Miura is the name of the guy in Japan who creatd this mod. This all started when First Toy posted a pic of his grill and then Butnut identified his website.
http://www.geocities.co.jp/MotorCity-Pit/3985/
Since then, I've written several emails back and forth to Satoshi. His wife write some pretty decent English and translates back and forth. I'll have a little background on Satoshi in my write up which should be finished by the end of this week or sooner.

It's butnut...not butt nut! hehe It's my name on several forums and some do remember the name from the Jerky Boys. I'm pretty 'normal' and butnut is kinda funny sounding enough for me to like.
Yeah Bob, after I got my grille from Ebay, it had a few scratches the seller never mentioned. I seriously considered painting it. I thought I'd live with it for a while and now I don't wanna paint it, looks right to me and I dig chrome anyway. The scratches still bug me, but I'm over it.
