Possible Solution To Hood Scoop Envy
I was on ebay searching and came across this:
IMO, this hoodscoop looks exactly to the ones on the 4Runners that came with scoop from the factory. I wouldn't mind buying this for $57.99, possible to solution to Hood Scoop Envy

Yes, but
Yes, looks pretty much exactly like the ones on the 4Runner Sport editions. However, as with any metal/fiberglass or abs combination, it will eventually crack. The fact is, metal is more durable than fiberglass. Heat or sunlight induces wear upon fiberglass, especially your joint of metal to fiberglass, and you'll likely eventually have something happen. I've noticed it doesn't take much to do a number on fiberglass, but metal is in a different ball park. Now I'm not saying it wouldn't be worth a shot, but just be warned. Also the hood scoop that's part of the hood allows some air circulation in the engine. It might be an aesthetic solution, but not a complete one. Oooo, I just had an idea! Maybe you could put that one starting right where the windshield meets the body like a McLaren F1 or the new Subaru WRX or the infamous Mercedes CLK-GTR. Of course it might look tacky if you had two scoops, hehe.
