Heh, thanks anyway David! I think if I was having brake problems I'd be at the stealership letting them have a look.

Don't ya just hate it when somebody else has your screen name?

Thanks for the clarification Mark!

Yeah, I guess its motivation for picking a more unusual name, probably wouldn't be an issue if your screen name was shvd_scrtm or something like that....

Since I was Funrunner over on 4x4wire when the migration over here happened, I just decided to be the same person here too! Bad move.

Yeah, I'm so original. :pat:

Maybe if you ask real nice Corey will let you change it!

I don't post that much but I've been here a long time and agree, it is a bit too confusing.

Hey guys, I replaced my pads again and it still feels like crap. Any thoughts that it maybe could be the rear shoes? I also read in my Haynes book that you can adjust the brake pedal feel.

The fact that I can still make my truck stop quickly makes me think that maybe it is me and not the MC, or maybe the rears?

If you have great braking but low pedal, it's most typically the rear brakes out of adjustment. Do a search on how to tighten them up manually with the star adjuster wheels... We've answered it many times here, so no sense posting it again.
