Slipping clutch with swap

Like most other people on here I decided to do the swap and I have everything done. Motor runs fine engine lights on or brake lights or anything. But I have this problem with the transmission so I use the 3.4 flywheel and clutch and the 3.0 throwout bearing. Everything bolts up just fine and there is a little bit of room to move the clutch fork without the slave cylinder hooked up but it seems to let the clutch out slowly. It doesn't grab until its almost all the way out then it just grabs real fast. It's a brand new flywheel, throwout bearing, and slave cylinder. When I put it into gear let the clutch all they way out, it seems to be slipping still and Im not sure what it could be making it slip still.

I know you said it was new , but , just to confirm .. those pieces are shipped with a "special" coating , so they don't rust .. this coating needs to be cleaned off before install ..

again .. I'm sure you did .. just want to make sure

The only I can think of is my throw out bearing is messed up or my clutch backwards. I heard Napa can mess up the clutches

Are there 2 different depths of the flywheel in the 3.4 pickups? Like older 3.4s Tacoma's thinner than the 2000 and newer?

Did you use the spacer between the crank and flywheel

I don't think it has one. I'll have to check. Do I leave it on or do I take it off? I'm so stumped on this. I've shaved the throw out bearing down some tried using it without the slave cylinder hooked up bleed the line few times. New slave cylinder and everything in there new. I am out of ideas or solutions to get this problem solved! Only thing from getting it to drive down the flipping road!!!

If it is still slipping with the slave unbolted then the problem is definently with the clutch itself or the throwout bearing clearance. As for the spacer im not sure if you use it or not. I need to find that out for my own swap too. I would make sure the clutch fork can be moved with the slave unbolted. Sounds like the throwout bearing is too wide from front to back or there is a fault with the clutch itself. Hope you get it resolved. If v

If the clutch components were ordered at one time from the same place you may have gotten a 3.4 throwout bearing by accident.
