lift options for a 98 runner
looking at 98 runner have a 88 with 35's
what lift options are available for the 98 seems like all i see are spacers
would like to run 33's

Now to answer your question, there are quite a few set ups out there. There's several companies that make coil-over setups if you want high dollar stuff. There is Old Man Emu, which makes good stuff but their front shocks tend to provide more droop than our CV's can handle under hard wheeling. Also guys use the TRD Tundra coil springs in the front to give 1.5-2" lift, add a little if you throw a small spacer in there.

I'm very satisfied with my current set up. Swayaway coilovers are a cheaper alternative to Donahoe. I went with a custom spring pack in back do to body armor weight. Right now I'm stuck in a PITA situation with Toytec going on 4 months. I'll post details if it ever gets resolved (never again). I have had excellent service/pricing from Wheelers Offroad-Jason over there seems to get what good CS is about. Most with experience (including myself) will say stay away from spacers over 1", or at all if you're planning much offroad.

I went with toytec for my 3" lift (all spring; only 1/2" spacer on front). They are Old Man Emu springs 881 up front and 891 out back. Very pleased with the service and price. I run 285/75/16's (33x11.50) with no rubbing.

Check out Steve at Sonoran Steel and check all of his lifts. They are $$$ but I doubt he makes alot off of em. If you price all that they include, he sells them for CHEAP. He has everything from mild lifts to larger ones. Under his FAQ he answers practically every question you could ask about lifting.
