Yeah, I had already talked to my parents about it, my dad was like: "What the hell? 30,000? Son you'd be stupid not to sell it." Could've had me a badass offroadin 4Runner.. haha oh well...

i saw the headline to your post and new not to even open it but i did. then i saw "myspace" and quickly closed out of it.
then, against better judgement came back and read the last two posts.
oh i so wish i haven't. 5min of my life i'll never get back. i can't belive this post went on for so long. and what is wrong with you? you were dealing with 16yo kids on MYSPACE. what did you expect?

hey, the possibilities were there. everyone wanted to see him get 30 grand for it. with the area that the kid lives in and the freaking spoild kids these days, it could happen.

Here is how i look at it:
Had he just ignored it he would forever wounder if it were real and wish he had just sold it.
As it stands he waisted a few mins but he now knows that it was a prank and that he could not have really made a 10K+ profit in mins.
I think he did the right thing.
