Guess I should introduce myself

I just found this board the other day so I thought I'd join. I am currently running my second Yota. My first one was an 85 longbed 4x4 that took all the abuse I could throw at it. My current truck is an 84 4Runner SR5. The motor is a stock except header 22R with 275,??? miles on the clock. She is running a 3" sup lift with 31" tires. The biggest thing wrong with the truck is rust in the rear quarters but that should be fixed between now and winter. These are the only pics I have of the old girl at the moment...

Ps. Well I would show pics but they are too big for this forum

Thanks for the welcomes. The new wheels and tires made a world of difference. The next thing I'm going to do to her in install new quarters. Then after that I should be able to paint the old girl...

Hey Scofco, I do miss the pickup but I love the extra room of th 4Runner. Both of them have their ups and downs. The bigest thing I miss about the pickup was wheeling it. Haven't really wanted to wheel the runner because it's too solid a truck to tear up in the woods...

It's more like "the woods are too nice to tear up in the 4runner".
She's made to wheel

Hey FSRBIKER I lucked out and found a near perfect set on a truck at a local junk yard. I had to pay $500 for the back half of an 88 Runner to get the quarters. I have a catalolg that has a set of fiberglass ones if anyone's interested ...
