Front Bumper Exchange?

Can I put a 98 bumper on a 96? Man that'd be sweet to get rid of those orange lens and add fog lights. :drum:

Yes. I am just too excited watching the Pistons with a 15 point lead near the end of the 3rd quarter!!!!!

There are a few threads on this. It takes a small amount of fabrication (for lack of a better word), but it can be done.

I think dbikeman did this mod - I think.

Christian,
How did you black out your wheels? That looks slick.

Thanks, glad you like them. Here is the thread I started:

https://www.yotatech.com/forums/show...ight=black+oem

I still need to bust out that write-up. The keys to the black wheel mod are:

1. Get the tires removed (not necessary, but much easier)

2. Proper prep is crucial (wipe, sand, wipe)

3. Prime and paint

Clear enamel is optional. VHT Polyurethane wheel paint (black of course) is your ticket.

Let me know if you need any more help.

Anything special with the plastic center hubs?

Where do you get the VHT paint? Runofthemill AutoZone type shops?

Prep the center caps like you would the wheels. No difference.

I got the VHT polyurethane wheel paint at Checker auto.

Be sure to post before and after pics if you do this!
