Air/fuel mix gauge install on 22r
Just qanted to know if this is easy to do and if anyone knows of a write up about how to do it? Everywhere I read says it needs to be hooked to the oxygene sensor and the power train control module. Is this an easy task or will there be more to it than I expect. I just hate electrical so I had to ask.
Any info is appreciated.
Thanks

what the heck is a powertrain control module gonna tell a A/F sensor? all you need is a compatible O2 sensor for the gauge. the easiest way to install one is to weld a bung into the downpipe close to the exhaust manifold, or buy a header with an O2 sensor fitting.

I have an Intellitronix (Nordskog) A/F meter on my 22RE. It has a buffer amp to allow it to connect to and share the sensor with the ECU. If you have an existing sensor on the 22R, this would work. Needs ignition-switched power and ground to power it:

Thanks, that answers my question. I already have a header with no O2 bung so I would have to get one installed on my downpipe. I dont have a welder yet, and no one I know has one I could borrow so I would have to pay someone to do it. Any idea on what an exhaust shop would charge to do this?
