98 SR5 4x4 lift options
Ok now i know that a lot of people are against this route but i have to ask. I ran into a some extra cash (ok a lot) and i want to re-lift my 4runner. I used to have a full OME set-up that net around 3.25" front and back. I was running on 315/75/16 toyo m/ts (35") and that was fun but i want to go bigger while i have the chance. I don't have the need for a SAS although i really wouldn't mind it, just don't have the time or equipment. That being said i want a few opinions on this set-up:
Front:
6" Fabtech tacomca lift (drop bracket i know)
2" strut drop spacers (bolt between strut assembly and frame mount)
Keep in mind this rig will be off road but just light stuff no rocks in SC
Rear:
2" lift LC coils (OME 851) to net ~5.5" lift
LC OME N71E shocks
extended bump stops and brake lines
Adjustable panhard bar from SonoranSteel
My main questions have to do with the rear set-up. i really dont want to go to a leaf spring set up. Also keep in mind that i will be running 37"x13.5" toyo m/ts afterwards. And don't worry i would regear to compensate for the tires...thinking 5.29's or 4.88's

You must have ran into a ton of money. Sonoran steel is high dolla! I was planning on a Revtec 3'' with a 2'' bodylift on my 98 runner. Well let me know how this comes out.

sounds like an interesting plan, but in my opinion idk if 37s would be a good choice, unless your doing some serious drivetrain upgrades like new CVs and so on. definitely sounds like there would be some rubbing, but who knows with that big of a tire. but by all means post some pics of whatever you do.

5.29's if your wanting 37's. I only know one person succesfully running 37's that wheels there truck.
Just tub the firewall and trim to fit the 37's and save the $$$
I am planning on running 3-3.5" of lift when i swap and just tubing and cutting.

I think i'm actually going to go the practical route now. Probably go with 3.5" suspension lift, 1-2" BL, manual hub conversion, 35"s with 4.88 gears, and ARB's front and rear, if i have money left over ill probably go for a shrockworks front bumper, and fab up a custom rear bumper at a buddy's shop. more practical and a hell of a lot more fun

Yeah they would but they also make the front end like 3" wider than the back and im not a fan of wheel spacers. Plus i dont want to buy the fiberglass front fenders then have the wheels sticking way out in the back
