Question 3.0 Cam Replacement - Advice?

I had my '91 4Runner worked on a couple of weeks ago to fix a clicking sound during acceleration. I was told the valves needed to be adjusted. When I picked it up, they said they adjusted them so they were all within specs, but found that one of the cam lobes had worn unevenly. They said that was the cause of the clicking. They recommended replacing it.

Since I need to replace it anyway, does anyone know if anyone makes a performance cam for the 3.0? Also, how much should it cost to replace and what's involved? The mechanic I took it to (independent mechanic that used to be the head mechanic at a Toyota dealership) said he'd charge about $550. That was in Oregon, though, while I was on vacation.

This looks like the place you're talking about, right:

DOA Racing

It says $275 plus the valves need to be faced at 44 degrees and valve seats at 45 degrees. What exactly does that mean and how much are we talking?

Knocking during acceleration, is not a worn cam... It is probably due to cheap gas, or some kind of timing related problem. If the cam was worn down - it just wouldn't open the valve as far, causing less power etc..
