data link connector ?

Anyone have a pic or the wiring diagram for the data link connector on a 98 Tacoma 3.4 with an auto trans? I had to source a connector out of a 97 Lincoln continental and wondering what pin outs I need to put wires in. I know what wires I need just cant find a pic of where in the connector they go. Thanks for the help.

Assuming you're talking about the OBD-II connector (not the one in the engine compartment), start here: https://www.google.com/#q=obdii+pinout

If that's not specific enough, pin 2 is your signal line (SDL, in Toyota EWDs), pin 4 is chassis ground, pin 5 is signal ground (can just be connected to ground), and pin 16 is +12V (from a 7.5A fused, always on source).

Yes the obdII connector sorry. I was able to figure out after reading multiple posts that it's the D7 plug so that helped. I found that in the diagrams I downloaded and figured it out from there. Thanks for the reply. 2 more wires to connect and then fill with fluids to see if she starts:-). After reading all the build threads on here I was obviously lucky on my first swap to have it fire and run perfect on the first try. Hopefully this one goes the same
