Find your local dump
Find the local dump. They would probably weigh your truck if you ask. I was buying gravel which they loaded into the back of my truck. They weigh before the load and again after. I paid for how much more the truck weighed, almost a ton of gravel.

Bone stock 95 4 cyl, with about 1/2 tank and my 165 lbs in it weighs about 3550.
EDIT to add that the truck is a 2WD regular cab model with manual trans, probably the lightest configuration. Moti Last edited by Blackbird; 10-26-2009 at 07:29 AM. |

2x4x4?
I assume it makes a big difference if you have the 2WD or 4WD. Also, for the T100 I believe the 2WD has a 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton model.
So for your GVW to mean anything by way of comparison we would need to know if your truck is: 2WD 1/2 ton 2WD 3/4 ton 4WD Xtra cab manual vs automatic At any rate, mine is clearly very heavy. weight
A magizine I have about the history of the hilux says stock 84 weighs 3300. Mine weighs 3900 with me and my dog with all the extras. When I put my camper shell made by CARAVAN in Reno it weighs 5300 with my stuff. I just drove down to AZ to go to LCE, from Montana .I filled up in Idaho Falls and drove all the way to MM# 200 on I-15 on one tank (I have saddle tanks so I can drive my tanks dry, 19 gals) I got 16 MPG pulling a 450lb. trailer with another 800 lbs of engines. My air fuel ratio gauge had a very steady stoich reading all the way down to Las Vegas then it was running a bit lean. I got my carb jets just right.
