Lightbulb What to do???...

I have a 95 T100 and its just under 200K miles. stock everything except a 3.5 inch lift and 33-12.5-R15. I had 31-10.5 on a bit ago and gas and POWER went way down with the new tires. (I knew it would) What are some things that can help get those back up i would love to push that engine to its max. I read 900+ hp but that takes lots of $$$$ witch I don't have. But i would sufice with around 300+ hp and the same if not higher torque (i pull things with the truck) and as much as possible would be good but at the same time get better gas milage. Im sitting between 10-14 MPG.... If not less. I need a rebuild kit with some better internals but money is an issue but anyone can save for a bit and buy bits and pieces here and there. I thought about doing a swap to a 350 with 4 bolt main but that's TIME, money and Fab work. Of course everything takes money but I figured why not keep the engine and make it easier and do bolt on's and internals and such. I also would like to do a 5 speed swap but is it worth it to do that? I know there's a lot I can do just need some where to start cause I know there's an order to the madness.

Thanks

Is it a 4x4? Is it a 3.4L? Are you adjusting your fuel economy numbers for the change in tire size? For what do you want to use the truck?

900 hp?!?!? LOL!!!!!!!

Did you consider re-gearing? You will recoup your lost power and likely regain your gas mileage. With an automatic you should probably have 4.88's with your 33's.

3.4 swap with a supercharger/underdrive pulley and tuning will get you 300 hp and better gas mileage. check out the engine swap section and research.
